他給她的脖子買一顆鑽石
他讓她住在山上一爿牧場的屋子裡
從她的窗檻上
她可以看見谷中的野火會
她看到傾斜的陽光下藍色的泳池
她聽見夏日草坪上瑣瑣的聲音

他圍上一道掛滿鉤刺的鐵網
不讓陌生人走進來
在每一棵金屬的荊棘上
是他的一點血
她在他的藩籬旁巡梭
隨著拉丁的鼓聲
隨著夏日草坪上瑣瑣的聲音
黑暗
帶著愉快的面具
黑暗
燈滅了﹐黑暗﹐黑暗
沒有顏色也沒有對比

一頭鑽石的狗
帶著杯子和手杖
穿過雙重的玻璃看進去
看見那太多的驕傲和太多的羞恥
一頭黑色的蒼蠅嗡嗡飛過
熱浪在她主人的聲音裡燃燒
也在夏日草坪上瑣瑣的聲音中

他展露陰鬱﹐叫她感到懊悔
她有充份理由離開
他讓她住在一間充滿漂亮傢俬的房間
卻沒有客人來訪
而她仍然帶著某一種愛留下
這是這女子的選擇
夏日草坪上瑣瑣的聲音
